Oleta Garrett Fitzgerald is Director of the Children’s Defense Fund’s Southern Regional Office (CDF-SRO) and also serves as the Regional Administrator for the Southern Rural Black Women’s Initiative for Economic and Social Justice (SRBWI). Dr. Jeanne Middleton- Hairston is the former National Director of CDF’s Freedom Schools and founder of the Principal’s Institute at Millsaps College. They will guide us in our discussion about how our young people see themselves in the world.
